This year is expected to be another active hurricane season. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has forecasted another above-normal Atlantic hurricane season. There are a few ways to get prepared for this season. Check out the state’s division of emergency management to access information from your county including the special needs registry if you or someone you know will require special assistance in the event of an evacuation. You can also make a list of items to replenish hurricane emergency supplies and start thinking about how you will prepare your home for the coming hurricane season.
