Florida Rising is seeking an experienced Organizer who wants to build and strengthen the base in marginalized communities in Counties across Florida. The Organizer is responsible for implementing plans to engage constituents in Florida Rising activities, events, trainings, and capacity building. The County Organizer will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of base building programs and community campaigns. The incumbent will assist in implementing the Florida Rising organizing model centered on the development of grassroots leaders. This position reports to the Regional Lead Organizer.
Leon County Organizer

Bookkeeper
The bookkeeper is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the financial records (general ledger). This individual is responsible for processing and recording financial data. The Bookkeeper will report directly to the Accounting Manager.
Orange County Organizer

Fundraising Journalist/Lead Writer
Florida Rising is seeking a dynamic Fundraising Journalist/Lead Writer to spearhead our storytelling efforts within the development department. The ideal candidate will be a skilled author responsible for crafting impactful stories that engage and motivate diverse audiences, including donors, volunteers and the public. As the primary author, this individual will possess strong analytical and reporting skills, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a keen “nose for news.”

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the financial management and analysis of the organization’s 501c3 and 501c4 accounts. This individual will oversee the processing and recording of the organization’s financial data. They will report directly to the Finance Director.
Palm Beach Organizer
